Applying

    • Students in class

Students apply in the fall of their junior year for attendance in the summer before their senior year of high school. Beginning in 2022, sophomores who are in the top 10% of their class may also apply for attendance in the summer before their junior year of high school. Application materials and deadlines can be found on this page. There is no application fee required to apply to the ASP!
 
Before completing the formal application process, please read the ASP Viewbook carefully and consult with your principal or guidance counselor. It is recommended that you attend one of the online ASP information sessions

The 2023 session runs from June 25 to July 30, 2023. Tuition for 2023 will be announced in the coming weeks. 

The Application Process

Admission and financial aid decisions for the 2023 summer session will be mailed in mid-March.

Step 2

Complete the Student Questionnaire by January 10, 2023.

Step 3

Complete all of the following forms by February 1, 2023:
a) Parent Statement
b) Teacher Recommendation Form
c) Personal Recommendation Form (from another teacher or an adult who is not related to but knows the applicant well)
d) School Counselor Recommendation Form

Step 4

Submit Transcript Report by February 1, 2023. A full high school transcript including midyear grades must also be submitted by the administrator or school counselor completing the school counselor recommendation form.

Step 5

Apply for financial aid, if necessary, by February 15, 2023. If you are applying for need-based financial aid, please refer to the Affording ASP section of our website for further instructions.
