At SPS, you’ll experiment, collaborate, and think and ask the questions that lead to profound learning opportunities. Build your foundation of scientific knowledge with courses in physics, chemistry, and biology. Progress to courses in astronomy – featuring The Hawley Observatory, home to the largest telescope in New England – computer science, subatomic physics, molecular biology, and organic chemistry, as well as specialized electives in robotics and chemistry.

The Lindsay Center for Mathematics and Science is your launch pad for creative scientific inquiry, from the solar observatory to the Kwok Engineering Center to the Science on a Sphere classroom with direct access to data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - to the enormous Foucault pendulum that indicates Earth’s rotation, it’s all here on the grounds, and our 2,000 acres are the perfect natural lab for ecological study.
