A New Hampshire native, Alisa Barnard is a 1994 magna cum laude graduate of St. Paul's School. Upon her graduation, she went on to Colgate University, graduating magna cum laude with high honors and achieving Phi Beta Kappa. While at Colgate, she was the recipient of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Award for her contributions to the women's community. She also went on to earn a master's in theology in the Program for Religion in Secondary Education from Harvard Divinity School. Before returning to St. Paul’s, Alisa held a variety of teaching and administrative roles at The Blue Ridge School, Northfield Mount Hermon, and Westtown School.
 
Alisa coordinates the SPS volunteer team at Concord’s Friendly Kitchen, is a member of the Concord Friends (Quaker) Meeting, and is a member of the 2020-2021 Leadership New Hampshire class. Her passions include mountain biking, writing poetry, cooking and baking, and travel that brings her to old churches, interesting museums, big mountains, new cuisines, fresh donuts, or homemade ice cream.
