Big Red edge Zebras in tight match up

St. Paul's took the win versus Groton on Jan 26 in their annual Hockey Fights Cancer game. The Big Red took a two-goal lead after the first period. Caroline Humber put the first goal of the game from assists by Maude Neimann and Erin Flaherty. Cami Bell extended the lead with an unassisted goal to close out the first. Groton was determined, and they scored two to tie it up during the 2nd period. The game was back and forth, and the Big Red dug deep to get the final goal of the game. Cami Bell scored a top shelf goal with minutes left in the game. The game finished 3-2 for SPS. SPS plays Nobles tomorrow away.
