Big Red face Wildcats on the road

The final score, in favor of the home team—the Kimball Union “Wildcats”—from Akerstrom Arena in Meriden, New Hampshire this afternoon was 10 - 0. Although the St. Paul’s School varsity hockey team was defeated by a large margin, the “Pelicans” competed hard, and they did the best they could with a shortened roster. To the credit of Kimball Union, they scored four power-play goals and took advantage of several rebound opportunities to put this game out of reach by the midpoint of the game.
At this point in the early season, the St. Paul’s School boys varsity hockey team moves its record to three wins and two losses before heading into the prestigious Avon Old Farms Christmas Classic. For the upcoming tournament, the Millville skaters will need to hold strong mentally against the tide of injuries and illness to get through the holiday break. We look forward to seeing how the team will handle their next game when they play the reigning New England Champions—the Avon Old Farms “Winged Beavers”—at 5:00pm in Jennings-Fairchild Rink on Thursday, December 14th.
