Big Red fall to New Hampton on the road

The Big Red fell to New Hampton on the road on Friday, December 9th. St. Paul’s came out fast and dominated the first period. The game was 0-0 at the start of the second, but New Hampton scored two quick goals on the Big Red. Maude Neimenn responded and got on the board for SPS to finish the second period off. The Big Red started the third period hard, but New Hampton deepened their lead with a third goal. The Big Red did not quit, however, and Cami Bell scored the second goal of the game from a pass by Erin Flaherty. Their efforts were too late, and New Hampton netted an empty-net goal with seconds left. The game ended 4-2 for New Hampton. The Big Red is ready to bounce back today at home versus Holderness.
