Girls Sweep Groton Runners

Both the girls varsity and JV XC teams had an incredible start to the season with impressive wins over Groton with scores of 15-45 and 15-49, respectively. In the varsity race, crossing the finish line first was Aedyn Kourakos (20:17), with Olivia Blanchard (20:51) in second, Maeve O’Connell ((21:36) third, Brooks Boyd (21:48) fourth, and Ali Cabot (22:16) in fifth. Top finishers for the JV squad were Maddie Chang (23:36), Patalie Viprakasit (23:53), Lidia Zur Muhlen (24:20), and the pack of Sidney Magnus (26:16), Fleur Caryl-Klika (26:36), and Mary Chu (26:47) Next week the girls will defend their championship title on Wednesday when we host the Lakes Region Invitational.
