Counselor Debra Hansen has had an extensive career promoting the health and well-being of children, adolescents and young adults in New Hampshire and Florida. Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in both states, her professional history includes skills-based therapy with Dartmouth Health outpatient pediatric clients; longer term therapy with children, adolescents and parents through Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology Department; research focused on communication between parents and healthcare providers; a Mindfulness program; and medical missions to Haiti. She has worked with families from around the world. Her focus is the promotion of hope and resilience to confront life’s challenges as well as the promotion of greater self-awareness and insight that fosters peace of mind.
 
Originally from Texas, Debbie has spent most of her life in Florida. She earned her B.A. from the University of Florida and her M.S.W. from Florida State University.
