Meals & Dining

Gather 'round in the dining hall for great food (and conversation!) from our award-winning chef and food service staff.
    • Students at lunch in Coit Middle

Something is always cooking at St. Paul’s School, whether it’s in the dining halls in Coit or the Kwok Cafe in the Friedman Community Center, the food is varied, healthy, locally sourced, and delicious! Our award-winning chef and friendly certified food service staff create hundreds of meals each week for students, faculty, and staff using nutritious ingredients in menus that reflect the School’s international flavor. The Student Food Committee also helps craft the menu, and stocks it with all the current favorites, and vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free meals are available at every meal.

Traditions & Occasions

The dining experience is enriched by unique traditions and occasions that bring our community closer together. At Seated Meals, we share a family-style dinner wherein faculty and student leaders host tables with those in the School they might not otherwise get to know. During the holidays, you can be sure that Food Services will rise to the occasion with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and international holiday menus anticipated by the entire School community.

Food Safety

Diets, Allergies & Nutrition

Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free meals are available at every meal. We do not cook with nut oils; nuts are kept in closed bins in a separately designated area of the dining hall, and any foods containing nuts are clearly labeled. If your child has a food allergy, please contact Kate Daniels to discuss allergy documentation and develop a custom food plan. The dining hall has Epi-pens on hand, however, we strongly recommend that student with a life-threatening allergy carry one with them at all times. We strongly encourage healthy eating habits. Our contracted nutritionist shares advice and insights in our weekly newsletter, Food for Thought.
