The School's commitment to the arts is evident in its resources. Students have access to art studios, performance halls, dance and music studios, theaters, and the Crumpacker Gallery, which exhibits work by students and by local, national, and international artists.

Regardless of a student's artistic interests and abilities, the SPS Arts Program will provide opportunity for exploration and growth.

Programs

Our programs offer independent study projects and field trips and bring world-class artists to the School to conduct master classes. Throughout the school year, exhibitions and performances provide inspiration for exploring new approaches.

World-Class Talent

On stage, in the studio, and in classrooms, students learn from a dedicated team of teachers, all of whom are accomplished artists, performers, and scholars. Esteemed visiting artists enrich the Arts program as well – past visitors include fold singer Patty Larkin, cellist Yo Yo Ma, the Chicago Symphony Singers, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra conductor Ben Zander, and more.
