Christine Carter has been teaching at St. Paul’s School since 1992. She joined the SPS faculty after teaching at the Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Va., and the Kildonan School in Amenia, N.Y. She was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Humanities curriculum in its infancy. Ms. Carter holds the Donald M. Culver '43 Chair in Humanities.

Ms. Carter is a cum laude graduate of Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. She received her Master’s Degree in history from Brown University.

She serves as Head of the Humanities Department and is the Head of House in Kehaya.
