Bill Potter serves as the arts technical director at St. Paul’s School, supporting the School’s Arts Division. Originally from North Carolina, Mr. Potter received his BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts and his MFA from the University of Connecticut.

Mr. Potter has worked professionally in his home state as well as in New York, Washington, D.C., Canada, and throughout New England. Prior to his career in secondary education, Mr. Potter worked in regional theater and summer stock, as a theatrical rigger, a college professor, and built wooden rowing shells.

When not behind the scenes in the theater, Mr. Potter is a Ski Patroller in the winter, sails in the summer, Morris and Contra dances, and restores vintage motorcycles. Mr. Potter lives in Webster, N.H. with his wife, Debbie, also an educator and two rescue dogs (neither of whom are educators).
